Wipro, Ahold Organise Cycling Event in Bangalore

Wipro Ltd. today partnered with Ahold, an international retailing group headquartered in the Netherlands, for a cycling event. About 35 Wipro employees led by Srini Pallia, Chief Executive – Retail, Consumer Goods, Transportation and Government SBU, Wipro Limited along with Ben Wishart, Global CIO, Ahold and his team participated in the 50 kilometer cycling event held in Bangalore.

Employees from the two companies are also contributing to the fund being raised by Wipro Cares, towards rehabilitating the victims of the recent Nepal earthquake.

Wipro is a strategic IT partner to Ahold and the two companies recently celebrated eight years of working together.
