“Uni-GAUGE PGTech 2015” Exam for PG courses in Technology/Engineering

We would like to share with you about Education Assessment and Rating Foundation (ERA),  a Not for Profit organization pioneering educational reforms in India. It is promoted by Dr. M.R Jayaram, Chairman of Gokula Education Foundation and first Chancellor of M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Science, Dr. G Viswanathan, founder-chancellor of VIT University, and Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachana Educational Institutions. It has an autonomous Board of Governors that oversees assessment methodology, design and administration.

It is Chaired by Mr. Ranganath, Former Chief Secy. Government of Karnataka & non-executive chairman of IFCI, and comprises of Mr. KRS Murthy – Former Director(IIM-B), Professor Samir Brahmachari-Former Director General of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR),Professor Arun Nigavekar – Former Chairman of UGC, Dr A Gnanam- former  Vice Chancellor of Bharathidasan, Madras and Pondicherry Universities.

ERA has initiated a concept of Single Entrance Exam for Many Universities and successfully conducted UNI-Gauge PG MeD and EMeD exam when 12 universities and more than 20,000 students has participated and take the benefits.

ERA has again came up with UNI-GAUGE PGTech 2015 for the students seeking admission in post graduate courses in Technology and Engineering. These PG courses include M.Tech (Master of Technology) and M.E (Master of Engineering). With Uni-GAUGE PGTech 2015″, candidates seeking admission to M.Tech and M.E courses now have the facility to write a single exam and apply for admission to many universities (participating with ERA). This is a pan-India, computer based test which will be conducted in partnership with TCS iON. ERA will provide a score and it will be used as one of the criteria for admission to participating Universities/Institutions.

As of now leading private and deemed universities like M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (Karnataka), Reva University (Karnataka), Saveetha University (Tamilnadu), SCSVMV University (Tamilnadu), Periyar Maniammai University (Tamilnadu), KL University ( Andhra Pradesh), Karpagam University (Tamilnadu) have joined the Uni-GAUGE PGTech 2015 platform and more are expected to join very soon.

Registrations are open from 13th May 2015 and the last date for submitting online application is 22nd June 2015 .Uni-GAUGE PGTech 2015 Exam will be conducted on 4th July 2015.
