U.S. Immigration Fund (“USIF” – www.usifund.com), the largest EB-5 fund raiser in the world, announces the launch of its India-based operations. USIF has funded 24 projects worth $15 billion in development, and $3.2 billion in EB-5 funds through 6,400 investors.  USIF believes that India will be a significant country for EB-5 investors given the overall demographics of 1.3 billion people with a large middle and upper class who are highly educated and sophisticated.
U.S. Immigration Fund provides opportunities for foreign investors and their families to obtain permanent U.S. residency through the EB-5 Visa Program.  India represents one of the largest countries applying through channels of United States immigration. India has a very similar demographic makeup as China and USIF believes it has the ability to be as productive a market as seen in China. “We’ve experienced extraordinary growth and change here at U.S. Immigration Fund, thanks largely to our continued commitment to strong partnerships with world-renowned developers, international immigration agents, attorneys and recognizing the trust of our investor above all else,” said Nicholas Mastroianni II, CEO and President of USIF.
Andrew Graves, Director of Business Development, is leading the effort in India, said, “Over the last 8 years the usage of EB-5 Visas from native Chinese Citizens has grown more than 2000%. We believe with the proper education and marketing channels India could become the next largest user of the Employment Based Fifth Preference (EB-5) category in just one year.”
In the United States, the Indian population has surged since the 1990’s to become the second-largest immigrant group in the country after Mexicans, and ahead of those born in China, the Philippines, and Vietnam. As of 2016, more than 2 million Indian-born immigrants resided in the United States, accounting for 4.7 percent of the 41.3 million foreign-born population. From 1980 to 2016, the Indian immigrant population increased ten-fold, from 206,000 to 2.05 million, roughly doubling every decade.
Today, Indian citizens are the top recipients of temporary high-skilled worker H-1B visas, accounting for 70 percent of the 316,000 H-1b petitions (initial and continuing employment) approved by USCIS in 2016. The H1-b environment India is also the second-largest sending country of international students to the United States after China: Close to 103,000 Indian-born students were enrolled in U.S. educational institutions in the 2015-16 school year. “Given the strict and uncertain legislative environment of the H1-b visa program, Indian’s are turning to EB-5 for a significantly more reliable and consistent avenue to immigrate to the United States,” said Andrew Graves.
USIF has successfully reached key milestones, raised billions in EB-5 capital, creating thousands of jobs, receiving 100% approval from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services () on all adjudicated projects. With Regional centres in New York, New Jersey, Florida and California, U.S. Immigration Fund, provides worthwhile opportunities for International investors and their families to obtain permanent U.S. residency by investing in exciting U.S. Immigration Fund projects through the EB-5 Visa Program.
USIF is highly selective and pursue those relationships that will yield the best long-term value for all parties involved. The company’s proven track record provides investors with the wherewithal to navigate the immigration process and ultimately obtain their permanent residency. USIF continues to set the bar for the industry, innovating new communications and processes for the investors on a consistent basis. With this knowledge, experience and expertise, the firm has strengthened its position as the premier EB-5 Regional Center in the United States.
It continues to work with the multiple government agencies and organizations to further extend the EB-5 Program and allow future investors the opportunity to participate in this outstanding program. Further, USIF has an aggressive timeline for the development of new projects to deliver to the market and its commitment is unwavering to all of its shareholders and partners.
U.S. Immigration Fund organizes and manages new commercial businesses into which sophisticated foreign individuals (“Foreign Investors”) invest for the purpose of obtaining a U.S. Visa under the EB-5 Program. The new commercial businesses make loans of the capital invested by the Foreign Investor into a development project that will create permanent U.S. jobs. Typically, those projects entail the construction of large-scale commercial and residential buildings.
USIF also organizes and manages the day-to-day operation of its various USCIS-approved Regional Centers. An experienced team of real estate development, commercial lending, construction, finance, legal and marketing professionals leads the company. Over the years, USIF has developed a unique and successful approach to the EB-5 Program.
