Trident Limited Earns Level-3 STeP by OEKO-TEX® Certification

In its aim to achieve the highest sustainability standards, Trident Limited, the flagship textile company of Trident Group, a USD 1 billion Indian business conglomerate and a global player, has earned Level-3 STeP by OEKOTEX certification, the highest rating in the world-renowned audit.

STeP by OEKO-TEX® is an independent certification system for brands, retailers and manufacturers from the textile and leather industry. Certification is for production facilities at all processing stages to communicate an organisation’s environmental measures externally in a credible and transparent way.

The audit, held in December 2020, improved the previous audit certification held by Trident Limited based on the company’s recent developments in the area of Social Responsibility, Quality management, Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Environmental Performance. The organisation attained Level-3 in all the areas mentioned before.

Trident Limited was able to provide extremely satisfactory answers to all questions regarding exclusion criteria and complies with the highest requirements of STeP by OEKO-TEX® Standard Level 3 with regards to its structures, processes and management systems.”
