These discussions will delve deeper into the various challenges and opportunities in the education world arising from a digitally transformed, post-pandemic world. The three-month-long summit will focus on the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), Digital Transformation and Holistic Learning (DTHL) and the role of Hybrid Learning in enabling the Indian Education System to re-invent itself and evolve into a robust framework that is in tune with the needs of the digital-native student.
Talking about hybrid learning and the role of technology, Ali Sait, CEO, Tech Avant-Garde, said, “Communities have only begun to tap the potential of technology for learning. In a world in which knowledge is the number one asset, the benefits of this information-rich, technology-enhanced, collaborative learning environment must be extended even farther to empower students, teachers, schools and entire communities to learn without limits. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Education Summit 2022 is one such initiative which will spread the awareness on Hybrid Learning and NEP 2020 which help reimagining education and make our society – Future Ready.”
With the Indian traditional education system facing severe impact owing to the pandemic, it has been a struggle for educational institutions, students and parents alike with a lot of uncertainty about the future. The mission of the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Summit is to help educationists and parents navigate this rapidly changing landscape. The event has been organised in line with the vision of the Indian government’s focus on digital learning. With the launch of NEP 2020, there has been an increased focus on the digital transformation of the Indian education system. Speaking about the road ahead, Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India had earlier said, “I dream of a Digital India where quality education reaches the most inaccessible corners driven by digital learning.”
Detailing the summit’s focus on NEP 2020, Mahesh Vema, Secretary Summit India, said, “It is a moment of pride and honor to be associated with NEP 2020 directly and work towards the paradigm shift in our education system. We anticipate India will get back its past glory of being the “Most Progressive Society” of the world. Every student will get a quality Education and every teacher will be celebrated.”
The summit will open dialogues between thought leaders, bureaucrats, policymakers, industry players and educationists. With the pandemic induced turmoil, there is a lack of clarity about the best way forward. These events have been designed to offer educationists guidance in a collaborative yet flexible manner.
