Study Group celebrates its university partners’ success in prestigious UK and US rankings

Mumbai, September 22, 2021: Partner universities of leading international education provider Study Group achieve successin the latest annual Times Higher Education University Rankings, Guardian Rankings and US News and Best Colleges League Table.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022

Every year, more than1,500 tertiary education providers across 93 countries and regions are nominated for the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. They are the only rankings to review higher education institutions across all their core missions, including citations, research, teaching, international outlook and industry income.

Study Group – including our EdTech company, insendi – partners with over 50 universities featured in the rankings. Many of these are highly ranked and include the University of Oxford (Ranks number one for the sixth year in a row), John Hopkins University, ETH Zurich and Imperial College London all ranked in the top 15 globally.

The partner universities of Study Group for international pathway programmes have also made achievements this year. These include theUniversity of Aberdeen, University of Auckland, Cardiff University, Lancaster University, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, University of Surrey, University College Dublin, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Waikato.

The Guardian’s Best UK University Rankings 2022

Meanwhile, Guardian’s student-focused league table ranks universities using eight different scores, which form a total out of 100. These take account of what students say about their teaching, feedback and the course itself in the annual National Student Survey.

Study Groupwith insendi, partners with 35% of the top 20 universities listed in the Guardian rankings.

In Guardian’s ‘The Best UK University Rankings’, several Study Group university partners for international pathway programmes increased their league table place, including the University of Huddersfield, University of Leeds, Royal Holloway, The University of Sheffield and the University of Sussex. The 2021 Guardian rankings also sees the University of Oxford retaining their position at the top of the table and Imperial College London, move up to 7th place.

The US News Best Colleges league table 2022

The US News Best Colleges league table in it analyses the performance of more than 1,850 higher education institutions across America. Study Group and insendi’s top-rated partners in the US Johns Hopkins and NYU Stern Business School placed 9th and 28th respectively in National University rankings. In addition to this, Study Group’s North American partner Baylor University moved up to 75th place. All Study Group university partners in America rank in the top 9% both nationally and regionally.

In terms of subject-specific rankings, Baylor achieved 33rd place for best undergraduate teaching and 17th place for best undergraduate research and creative projects in the US. Alongside Baylor (15th), DePaul is ranked in 44th place for the best first-year student experience.
