Sony DADC releases “MAD MAX: FURY ROAD” on home video

Get ready for a wild drive as the fourth film from the favorite Mad Max franchise, “Mad Max: Fury Road” arrives onto 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray & DVD from ‘Home Entertainment Services by Sony DADC’, India’s leading home entertainment content provider. This post-apocalyptic action film set in a future desert wasteland is directed by Oscar®-winning filmmaker George Miller (“Happy Feet”), the originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary “Mad Max” franchise.

“Mad Max: Fury Road,” a return to the world of the Road Warrior follows Max Rockatansky, who joins forces with Imperator Furiosa to flee from cult leader Immortan Joe and his army in an armoured tanker truck, which leads to a lengthy high octane road war.

Tom Hardy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) stars in the title role along with Oscar winner Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “Prometheus”) as the Imperator, Furiosa. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (“Mad Max,” “Sleeping Beauty”) as Immortan Joe; Nathan Jones (“Conan the Barbarian”) as Rictus Erectus; Josh Helman (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as Slit; collectively known as The Wives, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon”) is Splendid, Riley Keough (“Magic Mike”) is Capable, Zoë Kravitz (“Divergent”) plays Toast, Abbey Lee is The Dag, and Courtney Eaton is Fragile.

Miller directed “Mad Max: Fury Road” from a screenplay he wrote with Brendan McCarthy and Nico Lathouris. Miller also produced the film with longtime producing partner and Oscar nominee Doug Mitchell alongside executive producers P.J. Voeten, Iain Smith, Graham Burke and Bruce Berman.
