Shri Shatrughan Sinha inaugurates Padmashri, Dr Mukesh Batra s photo exhibition on Kashmir

Mumbai, 2nd September 2023. Shri Shatrughan Sinha ji, Member of Parliament and noted actor inaugurated the 52nd photographic exhibition of eminent homeopath Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra at the Dilip Piramal art gallery, NCPA – Mumbai.  Entitled ‘Whispers of the Valley’ the photographs capture the mesmerizing landscape of one of India’s most enchanting regions – Kashmir.  From the serene Dal Lake to the majestic Himalayan peaks, each photograph unveils a different facet of the region’s natural splendor.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Shatrughan Sinha Ji congratulated Padmashri Dr. Batra for his breathtaking photographs in bringing the pristine beauty of Kashmir to the hurly burly city of Mumbai.  The exhibition will encourage more tourists to visit Kashmir and help to increase the livelihood of the locals there.  He praised Padmashri Dr. Batra for his cause of supporting the visually challenged.

 

Dilip Piramal, who hosted the inaugural event said, “I have known of Dr Batra as a well known homeopath and am fascinated by his talent as a photographer.  I am honored that he is hosting this prestigious event at my gallery”.

 

Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra speaking on the occasion said, “I am delighted to use my talent of photography to bring the beauty of Kashmir to the people of Mumbai. After my international photo exhibition in Dubai last week, sponsored by the Art & Culture department – government of Dubai and co-sponsored by Nikon-MEA, I am glad to showcase the beauty of Kashmir through my photographs. I am glad it is going to help the visually challenged which we have been supporting for the last forty years”.

 

Present during the exhibition were, Zayed Khan, Padmashri Pankaj Udhas, Padmashri Anup Jalota, Roop Kumar Rathod amongst many other dignitaries.

 

The exhibition will be held up-to the 5th of September 2023 between 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Dilip Piramal art gallery, NCPA, Nariman Point – Mumbai.
