PURINA® PetCare bolsters its product portfolio- Enters cat-food market with Friskies® in India

PURINA® – a global leader in pet care, with a history of making some of the most popular and trusted dog and cat foods, has announced the launch of PURINA® Friskies® – a premium cat food brand in India. The Friskies® range offers a variety of dry cat food that provides complete and balanced nutrition for cats, and will further bolster the existing portfolio of the brand in the country. Following the introduction of the SUPERCOAT™ and PRO PLAN® range, Friskies® is the third brand from the global portfolio to be launched in India.

PURINA® has been constantly pushing the boundaries of pet nutrition. The same exceptional approach has led to the creation of Friskies®, which brings the best of nutrition in unique and delicious flavors, designed to unlock the sensory delight for feline companions. Friskies® is currently available in three unique ranges – Kitten Discoveries, Seafood Sensations and Surfin Favorites.

Kitten Discoveries, which is ideal for cats up to 12 months, comes in flavours of chicken, tuna, milk, veggies and whole grains, and is packed with the goodness of calcium, Vitamin A and D, Taurine and essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6). For adult cats, Seafood Sensations are available in flavours of tuna, salmon, whitefish, crab and shrimp, while Surfin Favorites are available in flavours of mackerel, tuna, salmon and sardin. Both are created with aim of providing complete and balanced nutrition for the maintenance of adult cats.

Kitten Discoveries is currently available in 400 gm and 1.1 kg packages priced at INR 190 and INR 425 respectively. Surfin Favorites are present in the market in 450 gm, 1.2 kg and 7 kg packages priced at INR 190, INR 425, INR 1850, while Seafood Sensation is available in 450 gm, 1.2 kg, 3 kg and 7 kg packages priced at INR 190, INR 425, INR 875 and INR 1850 respectively.
