PUDUMJEE PAPER PRODUCTS LIMITED’s PROFIT IMPROVES BY 28% IN NINE MONTHS ENDED 31ST DECEMBER 2024

Pune, 31 January 2025: Pudumjee Paper Products Ltd, on Friday, reported a 28% rise in the Profit Before Tax during the nine months ended 31^st December 2024 (Year-On-Year) to Rs.10406 lacs consequent to increase in sales by about 4000 MTs indicating EBIDTA of 19% as against 16% of last corresponding period.  Income including from deployment of surplus funds also increased by about Rs.752 lacs. Its revenue was up by 7% (Y-O-Y) to
Rs.61,900 lacs.

The cash and cash equivalent balance as on 31^st December 2024 stood at Rs.23248 lacs as against Rs.15292 lacs of last corresponding period.

The Company is in the process of setting up 15.4 MW Solar Power Project in Maharashtra which in addition to supporting goal of environment sustainability by raising share of green energy to about 45% of its present requirement will also reduce overall cost of energy consumed.  The plant is expected to be operational in mid of next financial year.

The Company continues to focus on manufacturing various Biodegradable and Compostable Specialty Papers having barrier properties which are used as input for sustainable packaging solution for various food products, pharmaceutical and other products, hospital supplies, hygiene sectors, confectionary etc., which are witnessing high growth in demand.

The Company has received a consent from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board for setting up a unit of Specialty Paper manufacturing facility of capacity of 68000 MT per annum, at Mahad subject to certain conditions, in a period of five years.
