Popular Television Actor – Hrishikesh Pandey of the CID fame spends time with School kids!

Hrishikesh Pandey, aka inspector Sachin of one of the most popular television shows, CID known for his tremendous fan following was recently spotted in his most benevolent and philanthropic form.
The actor was recently on a road trip to devlali for work purpose but as soon as localities came to know that Hrishikesh Pandey is in their vicinity, a group of social workers from an association called ‘Stri Shakti’ came to pay a visit to him and asked him if he would like to spend time with some of the women and kids they support.

Hrishikesh Pandey not only happily agreed and but also decided to support their campaign – Mid Day Meal that provides lunch free of cost to school children on all working days in different parts of India. The key objectives of the programme is protecting children from classroom hunger, increasing school enrolment and attendance, improved socialization among children belonging to all castes, addressing malnutrition, and social and women empowerment through provision of employment to women.

The actor was so charmed by the kids that he took a break and spent hours with them, interacting, laughing and playing. He not only signed autograph for them but also posed with kids for pictures who were equally excited to meet their very own inspector Sachin from CID.

When asked about his time spent with kids, Hrishikesh said, “It was amazing to spend time with these kids as each one has a new zeal and spark in them. They all recognized me as the undercover cop of CID and I was really delighted to know that these kids do follow the show. I would like to congratulate Stri Shakti association and its team for encouraging women and taking up the earnest task to make a difference to the lives of the children and taking care of them. It is something that I would remember for a long time. I would love to come back again and meet the children in future as well.”
