Witness the Goodness of Homeopathy through the life of India’s Homeopathy Pioneer on World Homeopathy Day

 

Mumbai, April 12th, 2022: On World Homeopathy Day, in an effort to popularize the goodness of homeopathy, Dr. Mukesh Batra launched his play, Jeena Isi KaNaam Hai. With most heroes confined to reel,the who’s-who of Mumbai got to sneek-a-peek into the life of India’s Pioneering Homeopath, Padma Shri recipient and real life hero to many.

Jeena Isi KaNaam Hai is a theatrical adaptation of Dr. Batra’s autobiography ‘The Nation’s Homeopath’ and makes history as the first theatrical performance to ever be depicted on the life of a living person. A gripping performance by Theatre Veteran Om Katare’stheatre groupYatri Theatre, the play follows the emotional real life experiences, failures and challenges that Dr. Mukesh Batra endured on his journey to becoming an entrepreneurial visionary and celebrated homeopath. This one-of-its-kind multimedia Indian theatrical production with an ensemble of more than 100 cast and crew depicts real life instances where homeopathy and ingenuity are combined to save lives naturally.

Amongst the audience to witness, Dr. Batra’s Magnum Opus were theatre and acting stalwarts including Gulshan Grover, Bharat Dhabolkar, Rakesh Bedi, Madhoo, Mikey Mehta andRaellPadamsee, who were all visibly touched by the powerful performance and storyline.

Commenting on the play, Gulshan Grover said, “As a long time patient of homeopathy and a fan of Dr. Mukesh Batra, this is a wonderful insight in to his journey and the journey of homeopathy in India. The play is fantastic and with a story as powerful as this, I hope to see a movie version soon.”

Overwhelmed by the audience response, Dr. Mukesh Batra said, “I’m thankful to all those who took their time out to witness my journey and for the encouragement and appreciation that the play has received. I am grateful that my life experiences can be a guide for budding entrepreneurs and hope it will help them on their own journeys.”

Apart from the scores of well-wishers present, Dr. Batra also invited the students and teachers from Homeopathy colleges across the state to be witness to the performance. A recorded version of the play will also be donated to management institutions, homeopathy colleges and libraries across the country to give hope and also entrepreneurial lessons to the budding homeopaths and business leaders of tomorrow.

With a message of hope and encouragement, the play will also see ticketed showings across multiple cities in India. The proceeds from these ticketed shows will be donated towards providing free homeopathy treatment to the poor and disadvantaged members of society for the entire year.
