NISSAN GT ACADEMY LIVE QUALIFYING ROUND WRAPS UP IN DELHI
The competition to move to Mumbai, Bangalore & Chennai
DELHI (India), June 09 2015: Nissan GT Academy registered an overwhelming response from the Live Qualifying round in Delhi, with over 800 people participating in the competition, to be a part of the glorious GT Academy 2015.
The innovative initiative by Nissan – GT Academy, is currently in its seventh season worldwide and second season in India. The driver discovery and development program provides opportunity to the gamers to live the dream as a NISMO Athlete. Nissan and PlayStation, with an aim to search for a racing driver in India, launched the second season of GT Academy in Delhi on 4th June, 2015.
The Live Qualifying Round, held in DLF Place, Saket – Delhi, from 5th to 7th June, 2015, witnessed incredible response of more than 800 registrations.
The Delhi round witnessed an exhilarated crowd. There was sheer excitement and everyone was very enthusiastic to participate in the activity, which was evident in the number of participations. The fastest top 10 participants were:

GT Academy India Live Qualifying rounds will move to other cities – Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai as per the following schedule:

Ten winners will be selected from these Live Events, who will then join ten winners from the online qualification round, at the Indian National Final to be held in July 2015 in Chennai. The winners of the National Finals will get an opportunity to compete to be one of the six to race at the famous Silverstone Race Camp in August 2015.
Nissan – GT Academy has programmed the live qualifying rounds to target maximum people, and to provide an opportunity to the racing enthusiasts, to be a part of GT Academy, at their doorstep, as per their convenience. It is a revolutionary initiative, in the field of motorsports in India, which gives a chance to racing enthusiasts to become a racing driver, with no professional experience.
