Mysore Fashion Opens with a Mesmerizing Artistic Aura

Mysore Fashion Week gets Bigger, Better and Bolder this season. The annual fashion extravaganza is being held from September 19–21 at Radisson Blue Plaza, Mysore.

The 2nd Day of Mysore Fashion Week – Season 3 opens with a breath-taking beauty & grandeur. The evening witnessed a galaxy of attendees from various genres – socialites, upscale consumers, invited VIP, elite crowd entrepreneurs and more who will get tranquilized in the luxurious visualization of the collections.

GAURAV KATTA commenced the second day of Mysore Fashion Week showcasing ‘Rani Bagh’ collection which is inspired by birds, flowers for the coming season.

Followed by Designer Arvind Ampula – who defines the moment to embrace the strong and classic traditional splendour of Rajwaras with a dash of crisp modern touch, amping up the antique style of Rajasthan and South India.

Designer Karishma Kukreja showcased ‘Carapace’ – the collection is inspired from beach destination wedding wear. Carapace is the new wedding wear with all modern outlooks in it, with this collection we are trying to get out of the stereotypes and get in to the comfort zone and yet try to carry out the Indian roots in it.

Mrs. Earth Priyanka Khurana graced the ramp for the designer.

Designer Ashok Maanay with his signature brand MAANAY presents his collection – “MANDARIN FLAMES” As the name suggests, the birthplace of this line is in the plains of Royal China where the heritage designs still thrive in all its pristine wild glory.

Designer Nausheen presented a mesmerizing bridal wear line.

Nivedita Saboo, the connoisseur of beautifully textured fabrics, innovative methods and exquisite surface ornamentation weaves design and detail together to create perfection. Charismatic Lisa Haydon graced the evening as the show stopper for Nivedita Saboo Couture.

Designer Rinku Sobti ended the show for DAY 2 at Mysore Fashion Week. “Essenza” – inspired by fruits and handlooms of Varanasi. Dauntless yet elegant, this collection is for every woman who loves to embrace their feminine side with confidence.

Rinku Sobti chose to have the embroideries inspired by fruits on her outfits which portray a sweet essence of the craftsmanship of the weavers. Her collection has the rich colours of Varanasi along with modern designs that include chic style dresses, flowy skirts and understated jackets.

The gorgeous ensembles and present exemplary designs added a striking charm to the evening.

The third season promises much more enterprising magnificence, style and the never-seen-before spirit of fashion.
