Maj General SS Ahlawat was the chief guest & promised to coach students to train them for selection into the services

A grand Investiture ceremony was held at Hayde Heritage Academy for welcoming the students in the new academic session 2016-2017. The Student Council Members of Hayde Heritage Academy were sworn, at an impressive Investiture Ceremony, amidst an air of enthusiasm and anticipation. After a traditional welcome by student pilots on horseback, the school choir set the tone for the programme playing the Lara’s theme to which the appointees marched onto the stage to take their oaths and receive their badges.
The Chief Guest for the day, Major General SS Ahlawat VSM, an officer of the Jat Regiment, President of North India Jat Maha Sabha, presided over the ceremony who gave the badges to the appointed students. During his address Major General SS Ahlawat, who has held prominent appointments across various locations in the Indian Army, promised to coach boys and girls and to train them for selection into the services as officers of the Indian Army in the coming years.
Retd Lt Col K A Singh – Director of Hayde Heritage Academy spoke eloquently about the school’s journey from 11 teachers and 8 children back in 2011 to its strength of 500 today.
Ms Rupamala Singh, Principal – Hayde Heritage Academy said, “ Today imparting holistic education is essential & the concept of education has changed drastically over a period of time where more focus is given now towards a holistic development of students. These days schools are equally focusing on extra-curricular activities and sports apart from academics to make students all-rounders.” She Further added, “Hayde believes in making the children understand the importance of being part of the innovative youth that will take India forward for generations to come”
The event ended with a vote of thanks to the audience for gracing the occasion with their presence, and went on to motivate the new students with suitable words of encouragement.The programme was brought to a close with the singing of the School song and the National Anthem. A total of 33 new members were given their respective sashes and sworn in, beginning with the Head Boy Himanshu Chetri , and Head Girl,Saloni Silmana.
