Lakmé Fashion Week hosts India’s first ever cruise show to open Summer/Resort 2017

~ Luxury cruise ship Costa neoClassica to host a grand Opening show by designer Monisha Jaising ~

Mumbai, 13th January, 2017: The grand Arabian Sea will soon be the stunning backdrop for the opening show of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017. On January 20th, designer Monisha Jaising will showcase her stellar new Couture collection atop the first International luxury cruise ship to start sailing from Mumbai to Maldives, Costa neoClassica. Adding yet another experience to the list of firsts in Indian fashion, the opening show will be truly extraordinary, as the elegance of the sea infuses with grace on the runway.

Lakmé Fashion Week has pioneered the concept of large scaled offsite shows at iconic locations making the designer’s collection into an experiential presentation. Some of the highlights across the years have been shows at St Xavier’s College, Mehboob Studio and now Lakmé Fashion Week presents for the first time ever an Indian fashion show on a luxury cruise ship!
