Since the launch of NEXA, we have been delivering new and innovative experiences to our consumers not just through the buying experience but also through other engagements which we have been doing around fashion, music and travel. This year, we will showcase how NEXA is at the forefront of bringing innovation and delivering outstanding experiences. NEXA is all about newer and premium experiences. Lakmé Fashion Week offers a platform for designers to create new styles and trends. This encapsulates a dose of entertainment, style, celebrity glamour spell, which is a vibrant hub of experiences and complements the ideologies of brand NEXA.”

Manish Malhotra will make his foray into bespoke menswear, launching a line of tuxedos and suits, for the season’s Closing Show. The collection will also include glamorous evening cocktail dresses for women. The line of eveningwear for men and women draws inspiration from the NEXA colours of Black, White, and Chrome, in luxurious fabrics.

Manish Malhotra said, “This July, the Manish Malhotra label completed 12 years. As we begin a new chapter heralded by expansion and diversity in design, my closing show at Lakmé Fashion Week on 20th August will for the very first-time present bespoke suits for men. After a successful menswear show at LFW a few seasons ago, the new collection is a step forward through a renewed focus on the segment. The suits have been created using varied textiles and textures with a touch of glamour and spans evening-wear, club-wear and festive & occasion-wear. With this collection, we will also introduce a bespoke tailoring service at our stores in New Delhi and Mumbai.

“For the women, the collection will have evening-wear and cocktail dresses in myriad fabrics, including handcrafted detailing and embroidery. Silhouettes like the stitched Sari and cape Kurtas in a colour palette including chrome, oyster grey and ivory lend a young, glamorous element to traditional festive attire. For the first time, we have also used black extensively in the collection. The collection accentuates the sensuality of the female form by using straight lines, flowy fabrics and low cuts in its construction.”

Jaspreet Chandok, Vice President and Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance said, “We look forward to the NEXA premium experience coming to Lakmé Fashion Week and a fantastic closing with one of India’s leading designers Manish Malhotra.”
