LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK ANNOUNCES MAKEUP GEN- NEXT PROGRAMME

~ Lakmé‘s new brand ambassador Isabelle Kaif announces the winner of India’s first talent hunt for makeup artists ~

9th January 2018, Mumbai; With every season, Lakmé Fashion Week aims to boost talent across the Indian fashion industry through its mentoring programmes. With the onset of the Summer/Resort 2018 edition, LFW announced a new programme called ‘Makeup Gen- Next’.

The month-long digitally held competition, saw an overwhelming response from aspiring makeup artists across India. 5 makeup artists have been shortlisted from which a winner was selected. The panel of industry experts included Jaspreet Chandok, head of fashion IMG; Purnima Lamba, head of innovation Lakmé, Daniel Bauer, celebrity makeup artist and official Lakmé makeup expert; Aanam Chashmawala, leading beauty blogger and the newest face of Lakmé Isabelle Kaif.

Subham Bhattacharya from Delhi and Gazal Rawlyani from Hyderabad were announced the winners of the first edition of the Makeup Gen-Next programme who will closely work with India’s celebrated makeup artist Daniel Bauer at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018. The winner will be a part of the exclusive LFW backstage crew during the week.

I am looking forward to seeing some spectacular beauty looks at fashion week this season!” says Isabelle Kaif, Brand ambassador, Lakmé.
