Mumbai, July 17, 2020: Kuku FM, India’s leading multilingual audio platform, has roped in renowned Hindi author, columnist and screenwriter Amit Khan for its Tapri Tales segment. As part of this partnership, 10 of his stories will be aired via Kuku FM over the next few months.

With more than 100 published novels under his belt, Amit Khan is one of the most celebrated Hindi crime novelists in India. His novels have been published in English and Marathi by reputed publishing houses. He is also an eminent Bollywood screenwriter and has written the script for many famous films and television serials.

Speaking on the development, Lal Chand Bisu, Co-founder and CEO, Kuku FM, said, “With 422 million Hindi speakers, there is a huge audience for Hindi content in India. On the other hand, most aspiring Hindi writers do not have access to the right media to reach the right audience. Their options are mostly limited and only a few have the resources for self-publishing or contacting the production houses of serials/web series. With Kuku FM, we are providing these writers with a platform to take their work to the masses while bridging the gap between Hindi authors and readers. Amit Khan is a distinguished figure in the world of Hindi thriller novels. We are delighted to collaborate with him and give India’s young, upcoming Hindi fiction writers a chance to make a name for themselves.”

Amit Khan will also be hosting free monthly sessions on the Tapri app with aspiring Hindi script and book writers to help them understand the art of storytelling. In the first session, top 10 writers from Kuku FM will be provided with the opportunity to take part in the discussions and learn how to improve their writing skills, create a compelling narrative and build intriguing characters, structure the narrative timelines, and other trips that make a story strike a chord with the audience. Further, Amit Khan will be sharing insights into the ways to make a career in writing through digital platforms like Kuku FM and make their stories market-ready.

Users who wish to participate in the counseling sessions can send in entries with their names by submitting original stories (at least 10,000 words) at publish@kukufm.com. The stories can be in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati. The writers of the selected stories will be contacted.
