R L Stine, the author of the popular Goosebumps novels is celebrating his 72nd birthday today. The American writer also known as the ‘Stephen King of Children’s literature’ has more reasons to rejoice this birthday as ‘Goosebumps’, the movie based on Stine’s best–selling book series by the same name, jumps from the page to the screen this October. The movie stars Jack Black as R L Stine and all the famous characters from the series will be featured in the movie.
Paying an ode to the author, Jack Black along with Slappy, the dummy a popular character from the book series have released a special birthday message for Stine.
