Milan, Italy, 23nd March, 2022: Istituto Marangoni, the leading Italian fashion and design school, has recently announced the launch of their state-of-the-art campus in Dubai. With the ideology of nurturing and helping emerging talent across the globe, Istituto Marangoni has time and again offered well-equipped campuses across various cities around the globe.

With the addition of the Dubai campus, Istituto Marangoni now has schools across 9 cities in 7 countries. Istituto Marangoni has realised the potential in the Middle Eastern market through its market research. Being the first international school specialised in Fashion & Design, it has not yet had a physical presence in the United Arab Emirates. The project for the new School in Dubai will be 100% under the control of Istituto Marangoni and in this way, it will be possible to guarantee the academic excellence that has always characterised the schools of the Group.

“It is another milestone for our institution that brings the excellence of Made in Italy into higher education. With the ideology to impart knowledge and upskill some of the freshest talents from the Arab countries, our Dubai campus promises the ultimate learning experience. The new school is part of a broader long-term project of expansion and collaboration with other Arab Gulf States and of promoting the many professional and academic opportunities that this part of the world offers,” said Ms. Stefania Valenti, Managing Director, Istituto Marangoni.

Adds Mr. Tarun Pandey, Chief Operating Officer, Istituto Marangoni, Mumbai, “more than just having an expanded global footprint, the launch of the Istituto Marangoni centre in Dubai is of great advantage to our Indian students as well. With this launch, in addition to Istituto Marangoni’s European campuses, Dubai will also be a destination for our students from the Mumbai campus, who will be able to progress in their second year to validated courses in Dubai to earn degrees that will be recognised in all Arab countries,”

The new Dubai school is located in the DIFC region (Dubai International Financial District), one of the most lively and dynamic areas of the city and an area rich in cultural stimuli for students. The school has the ambitious goal of being a bridge between different cultures – between the Made in Italy ethos of the brand and rich local traditions – to bring an academic offering of the highest level to the United Arab Emirates and to train the next generation of professionals in the fashion world, with special attention to the talent of the new generations of Arab women.

Istituto Marangoni Dubai courses will start in September 2022 and will mirror those provided by the Milan school. Preparatory courses, three-year degrees, and post-graduate courses lasting one year, dedicated, in particular, to Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Interior Design, and Visual Design. Students who graduate from the Dubai School will obtain a diploma validated by the Ministry of Education with validity in all Arab countries. Furthermore, as for all other schools, there will be the possibility of enriching one’s academic path by attending one of the nine schools of the network present at the international level.

Istituto Marangoni Dubai will be also a destination for Indian students from the Mumbai Training Centre that can progress in the second year to validated courses in Dubai to get a Degree Award recognized in all the Arabic countries.

Starting from February 2023, short courses, and executive courses, aimed at local professionals, will also be provided, delivered in a hybrid formula – both online and face-to-face.
