Charles Sturt University Study Centres in Australia are offering bursaries and scholarships for the duration of students’ undergraduate and postgraduate programs for July and November 2021 intakes

Mumbai, June 7, 2021: Amid the ongoing applications process for the July and November 2021 intakes, Charles Sturt University Study Centres in Australia have introduced attractive discounts for Indian students based in India through their bursary and scholarship payments. This will allow a significant reduction in course fees for students willing to return to Australia post the pandemic in 2021 and payments will span the duration of the student’s course.

How can students receive the bursary or scholarship?

Eligible students can get access to a bursary, or a scholarship, based on their offer letter. On the second page of that letter, the number of subjects enrolled in will be referenced along with the year’s tuition fee, which is used to calculate the discount. Successful students then pay the adjusted fee, along with the Student Services and Amenities Fee. The bursary letter confirms the figure to be discounted from the amount provided in the offer letter. All students wishing to study in Australia will be required to pay for Overseas Student Health Care (OSHC).

Indian students can receive the postgraduate International Student Excellence Scholarship of up to a 15% reduction, distributed over the duration of the graduate diploma and masters’ programs. The eligibility criteria for this academic merit scholarship is categorised across three levels, including:

  • 2.2 GPA / 55% or higher in your Bachelor degree to receive 5% scholarship
  • 2.4 GPA / 60% or higher in your Bachelor degree to receive 10% scholarship
  • 2.6 GPA / 65% or higher in your Bachelor degree to receive 15% scholarship

Indian undergraduate students can apply for the COVID-19 Relief bursary to receive a 12% reduction in fees for the duration of their course. This offer applies to offshore students confirming their offer for the July and November 2021, and the February 2022 intakes of the undergraduate diploma and bachelor degrees. To secure the bursary they must accept the offer to study by:

  • 28 June 2021, for July 2021 intake
  • 25 October 2021, for November 2021 intake
  • 7 February 2022, for February 2022 intake.

Charles Sturt University Study Centres also supports Indian students commencing in the July and November 2021 intakes by providing the Arrival Care package valued at AUD $4,200^

The package is available to offshore students and includes:

  • 2 nights’ accommodation, valued at up to AUD $500
