Essel Utilities Bags Award for Best Practice in Power sector at IUKAN 2015

Essel Utilities Distribution Company Limited (EUDCL), India’s leading company in the integrated utilities business bagged award for Best Practise in Power Sector for Metering, Billing, Collection & Payments at the glittering 3rd IUKAN Utility Best Practices 2015 Awards Ceremony. The Awards aims to bring out a compendium of the best practices taken up by utilities and their partners in order to drive improvements in systems and service delivery. The Awards intend to bring a paradigm shift in the way a utility looks at its grounds team, which are the actual asset / wealth manager for the utility. Mr Satish Kulkarni, VP -IT, Essel Utilities, Mr. Sonal Khurana, Business Head, Aurangabad City Water Utilities Company Limited (ACWUCL) part of Essel Utilities Distribution Company Limited & Mr. Rajeev Dholakia, Associate Vice President, Essel Infra & Utilities were present at the event.

Speaking of the achievement, Essel Infraprojects, CEO, Mr. Ashok Agarwal, said, “Essel is deeply honoured to receive these prestigious awards from IUKAN. The awards will go a long way in recognizing the efforts of all our employees, partners and customers in making our projects successful.”

The awards were given to companies having presence in Utilities, Solutions & Service Providers consultants and were invited to nominate under Power, Water, Waste management & Urban Mass Transport.

To recognize the grass root level initiatives in utility operations, the IUKAN Forum partnered with Accenture, to bring the IUKAN Accenture Utility Best Practise Awards 2015. The Utility Operators, with their partners, work through extremely complex utility projects, addressing the challenges in improving services delivery further compounded by local ecosystems. So these Awards brings forth a collection of applied best operational practises across utilities at pan India level, and set benchmarks to inspire healthy competition and growth.
