Dineout announces its fourth acquisition with Delhi based Binge Digital

Says it would augment work in Data Analytics to enhance variable and dynamic pricing capabilities

Mumbai, 12th August 2019, Dineout, India’s largest dining out and restaurant technology Solutions Company today announced the acquisition of Binge Digital, a Delhi based food tech platform that helps restaurants upsell and increase ticket size with the help of analytics and video menus to their diners.

This acquisition comes as a strategic move which is in line with Dineout’s latest product announcement – Dine-In. Dine-In is a digital menu product which enables variable and dynamic pricing for the restaurant industry utilizing  data analytics and artificial intelligence, allowing customers to view digital menus with images directly on their phone and to place an order with just a tap. Dine-In is one of a kind product which is integrated with the POS system enabling restaurants to identify customers, their ordering patterns and suggest food & drinks recommendations basis the same and the acquisition of Binge digital will help strengthening it further.

Binge through its cutting edge technology is one of the few players in the market that allow diners to access menu of the restaurant in a video format at the table itself utilizing diner’s data and patterns. The platform additionally provides in-depth information of the menu at restaurants in addition to restaurant discovery services. This is Dineout’s fourth acquisition after inResto, Gourmet Passport and Torqus to further accelerate the platforms capabilities and revolutionize the dining-out industry.

The founding members – Naman Jain, Prakhar Agarwal and Preksha Singla – have joined the Dineout team. This transaction includes Binge’s technology, intellectual property, domain expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning and analytics data management.  Binge is currently operational at 90 outlets across New Delhi offering Online Video Content, Marketing, and a Pre-order system with brands like – Café Delhi Heights, Ek Bar (Olive Bars), Local, Vault Café (Big fish ventures) utilizing their services.
