Having being her first ganpati after her wedding, the occasion holds a special place in her heart. The entire family offered prays & paid their respect to the elephant-headed God by bringing the idol home like every year.
Manali Jagtap hosted a pooja and havan followed by bhajan session at her home in the presence of her entire family and friends.
Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Ganesh Chaturthi, Manali says “Ganpati Bappa Morya. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi everyone. It really means a lot to me. Lord Ganesha is a symbol of new beginning, so we pray. The eleven days of Ganpati festival are magical, it’s a divine feeling and it’s a beautiful festival. I pray and wish that Mangal-Moorti does mangal to all of us and may he shower his blessings on us”
However, the designer stands firm in support of Eco- Friendly ganesha. She firmly believes “At times we do forget that in our zeal and enthusiasm to celebrate the festival, we do not think much about the environmental hazards that get created due to the immersion of such idols. I totally stand by Green Bappa.”
