The iconic festival will play host to The Lumineers for their first ever performance in Asia, with the 2022 season also featuring American rapper J.I.D, Swedish band Dirty Loops, UK’s PAV4N and Israeli band Tiny Fingers

National, November 21, 2022: India’s ‘happiest multi-genre music festival’, BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender is all set to thrill Indian audiences with one of the most impressive line-ups of the year, playing at the fest’s home ground of Pune, from November 25 to 27, 2022. Returning for its 13th edition under the theme ‘#13MeraWeekender,’ BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender is one of the most eagerly awaited festivals in India and has been witnessing increasingly unparalleled growth in popularity and footfalls over the years.

Touted to be ‘India’s answer to Glastonbury,’ BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender has occupied a unique position in the landscape of music in India since its launch. Known equally for its big name headliners and breakout indie talents, the festival prides itself on its diverse appeal. With five massive stages each showcasing a selected genre of music, the Weekender (an IP of NODWIN Gaming) has enabled organic discovery of artists and cross-pollination of audiences across genres. It provides the biggest platform to nurture and support India’s growing indie music scene, and is one of the driving forces behind the recent breakthrough of indie music into the mainstream Indian musical consciousness. Thirteen years on, it continues to be THE stage for discoverability of the best indie and live acts in India. It holds a proud position in the history of Indian music festivals, being the launchpad for numerous up and coming acts that broke through to become indie sensations over the last decade.

This year, the festival continues to bring some amazing firsts to Indian fans, with headliner acts of famed American folk rock band The Lumineers on their first Asian stage as well as Dirty Loops, a Swedish Jazz, R&B/Soul, Pop band. . Also taking the stage will be American rapper J.I.D of the powerhouse Dreamville crew to set the stage on fire with bars from his new hip-hop album. Completing the line-up is the second hip hop attraction PAV4N, the first rapper of Indian descent to have a top 10 UK chart single; and Tiny Fingers, the power-packed Israeli experimental rock band.

Featuring an array of over 40 local and global performers, the festival will also showcase electrifying performances from Indian artists Bloodywood, The F16s, Yashraj, and Hanumankind. The five stages will be home to a variety of styles, from high energy hip hop acts to soul-stirring ballads – with the list of Indian artists including KR$NA, SEZ & THE MVMNT, Shashwat Bulusu, Reble, Jhalli, Many Roots Ensemble, MC Altaf (Live), Anumita Nadesan, The Down Troddence, The Darshan Doshi Trio ft. Hashbass & Rickraj Nath, Anuv Jain and Raman Negi. True to its tradition of being a nurturing ground, the fest has a few exciting first-time performers to watch out for, namely Rudy Mukta, Dohnraj And the Peculiars, Peekay, Utsavi Jha, Karshni, Adi, Gouri and Aksha, VelvetMeetsATimeTraveller, Wild Wild Women, Dappest + Adl, Fox In The Garden, Perp X Linfomation, Saachi and Meba Ofilia.
