The latest financial infusion will accelerate the brand’s manufacturing vertical to meet its product’s PAN India demand and boost customer service

Mumbai, October 29, 2021: AiRTH, the world’s first and only company to manufacture Antimicrobial Air Purifiers, has successfully raised seed funding from Whiteboard Capital, Syrma Technology, and FIRST (IIT Kanpur). The company plans to use the funding to bolster its production lines to meet the PAN India demand and modernize its after-sales services to provide the utmost convenience to its customers.

A brainchild of Ravi Kaushik, AiRTH was founded in June 2020 to counter the deadly effects of unseen viruses and germs in the air. Its key product is the world’s first antimicrobial air purifier that works on a unique DCD (Deactivate-Capture-Deactivate) mechanism to provide real-time deactivation of unseen viruses and germs in our surroundings. Unlike any other air purifier that becomes a source of a breeding ground for captured germs, the anti-microbial air purifier from AiRTH offers complete protection. The technology has been tested for the reduction of SARS-CoV-2 sized particles, i.e. 100nm at CSIR-NPL, 99.99% deactivation of germs in the air in 10 minutes at FICCI Research & Analysis Centre, and deactivation of captured germs in the device at TUV Rheinland.

Commenting on the funding, Ravi Kaushik, Founder & CEO of AiRTH, said, “It’s only been a year since we started our journey, and we are delighted to host an impressive clientele, including the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), hospitals, and more, who believe in our product and vision of the company. Besides countering COVID-19 strains in the air, our purifier is designed to deactivate other harmful germs and viruses, which is quite beneficial in the age of rising pollution and deadly air-borne diseases. Today, more and more people have understood our work’s importance and reached out to us to help them have a healthier indoor environment. The recently acquired funding will help us strengthen our operations to continue serving our customers, making India a place to breathe without toxicity”.

AiRTH played a crucial role during the formative months of the COVID-19 pandemic, where the brand deployed its antimicrobial air purifier units at homes to prevent cross-infection among loved ones and hospitals to safeguard frontline warriors and protect people from unknown future pandemics. As the COVID-19 loses its grip, AiRTH aims to create a safe and healthy indoor environment for families to stay protected as thousands of Covid-like cases raise the risk of future pandemics, for offices to start collaborative work culture again, and for hospitals to prevent HAI (hospital-acquired infections).
