A Unique event by Happy Healer and IYSG on International Yoga Day.

Happy Healer is pleased to announce that on the occasion of the 6th International Day of Yoga, 21st June 2020, Happy Healer Team conducted different Live Yoga Sessions for people across the country. As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic is not allowing us to step out of our houses and recognizing the importance of yoga in helping people deal with increased depression and anxiety during the lockdown, HAPPY HEALER decided to provide the free sessions to the people to increase the awareness.

There were different live sessions during the day, which included simple yoga exercises, breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation practices to improve physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. The sessions were a blend of immunity boosting food habits and lifestyle tips from the pro experts.

Pawan Verma, Founder, Happy Healer & Road to Yoga Community informed that, hundreds of people participated in all the different sessions. We also conducted the yoga sessions on multiple channels with partners like DLF_Cyberhub, Coho.in and Wellcure.com on Instagram live, to spread awareness on yoga while working. At the end of the day, we also posted a tribute to the Police Department on different social media platforms.

Also, the uniqueness of this live event was that it was an initiative towards the Health and Hunger Together. The people who registered for the event also contributed the amount of their choice to share the essential items to poor during this crisis. The motive of the event was to “Go live & social together.” Happy Healer collaborated with Indian Youth Social Group for this fundraiser. People from different cities of India took part in this initiative and helped themselves by Yoga and the needy by their small contributions.

According to Rupali Soni, Founder, Indian Youth Social Group, “The Fundraiser was successful, and we are going to provide food and essential items to more than 100 families from the collected fund, During this time of crisis, It is very necessary to take care of our health and help those who are in need, and this event was an initiative to do both at the same time.’

The main aim of this live event was to promote yoga and its benefits, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic. We all should learn Yoga and practice it, not just on Yoga Day but every day.

Yoga provides multi-dimensional solutions to many challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic. Regular practice of Yoga is very necessary as it gives emotional strength as well which is very important at this time. Also, when we can take care of our health and help those who need us at the same time, then why not?
