SBI adjudged Best Emerging Markets Bank 2015 in India by Global Finance

State bank of India has been adjudged the Best Emerging Markets Bank 2015 in India by Global Finance magazine. The outcome is based on an exclusive survey by the magazine in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the twenty-second year that Global Finance has named the World’s Best Banks, and these awards have become the trusted standard of excellence for the global financial community. The report covers best banks in Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

With inputs from industry analysts, corporate executives and banking consultant, Global Finance editors have selected the best emerging markets bank in the region and in 25 countries. Criteria for choosing the winners included growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing, and innovative products. In addition, a poll of the magazine’s corporate readership was conducted in order to increase the accuracy and reliability of the results. The results of an exclusive survey by the magazine are to be published in the May 2015 issue.
